All with a local, passionate guide!

An excellent, excellent experience

Our guide was a local woman and her pride in her city shone through. She was at the appointed location in good time. There were only three on this tour so it was very relaxed with plenty of time to ask questions about the gorgeous Victorian architecture in the city centre. We explored the Lace Market area going through quiet areas right in the middle of a bustling city. We finished exploring the medieval side of things finishing with some legendary do-gooder bloke good with a bow. Brilliant and well worth the money.

Learnt a lot from a knowledgeable guide

An excellent overview of some 1500 years of local and British history. Nottingham has so many historical landmarks in such a small footprint that any tour over almost any route would pretty much seem as coherent as ours did. I intend to revisit a number of the sights that I was shown today. I must also mention that our little group could not have had a better guide on this walking tour. I especially appreciated her letting us "linger" around many of the sights.

Rainy but still worth doing

We always try to book a walking tour when we visit somewhere we haven’t been before and our tour with Sam really helped us to get our bearings and find out more about the city. Despite the miserable weather, we enjoyed the experience and learned a lot. Nottingham is a very compact city so the walk is not too long and conveniently finished at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem just in time for lunch.

Easy going tour thoughtfully designed

Fabulous guide called Anette. Visible to meet by her orange jacket on the market square. Very knowledgeable about the city and took time to ensure everyone was gathered around so we could hear her speak. I learned a lot by looking up at the architecture too. Nice pace of walking with lots of stops. Great way to spend an hour and a half.

First Class Tour in Nottingham

THE best way to discover the history and amazing things to see and do in Nottingham with the best guide we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Ending at the castle the tour had spread over two amazing hours including going into spectacular buildings along the way. Don't miss this tour as we would have missed everything we learnt and now want to visit the National Justice Museum with court reenactments and transportation stories. Can't wait to visit the underground caves of Nottingham (we had no prior knowledge) and the many other visitor recommendations along the way. Thanks for a first class walking tour.

Enjoyable wander in the city

We had Australian visitors and wanted to show them our city. They thoroughly enjoyed it and we learned a few things too! We were proud to be from Nottingham. Our tour guide was excellent, spoke very clearly with a touch of humour thrown in
