Hi we’re Liv and Jenny, we founded this small business in 2017, because we understand how important it is to meet and spend time with a local when you visit a new place. We initially took the tours ourself, before expanding into a group of guides, each who bring their own spin to the tours.

In each place, all of our guides are guides because they are passionate about the city and they want to share its beauty with you! Our guides come from all walks of life, and all have their own unique experiences of their hometown, which is what makes every tour unique. We hope to see you on one of our tours soon.

We don’t just offer your standard history tours, we have unique experiences too! You can book any day from now until the end of 2026.

MEET OUR TEAM

EVA

Hi! My name is Eva, I was born and raised on Hungary, moved to Scotland in 2016 and fell in love with Oban in the first minutes I’ve arrived. Love how kind and helpful Obanites are, and how beautifully special this place is. I feel honored to guide our guests around and I hope they injoy the blether as I do. Welcome to Oban

RUBY

My name is Ruby. I grew up on the Isle of Mull, and have been living in Oban for the last several years. I am a fully qualified childhood practitioner and work full time in a school as an ASN Assistant. I am a bubbly, outgoing person and I love being outside walking and geocaching which is one of my favourite hobbies. I hope that you’ll enjoy coming on tours with me around Oban and learning a bit about the town.

KENNY

Kenny was born at an early age and is old enough to know better. He has lived in Oban for just over eight years. When not taking tours he can usually be found making soup or staring wistfully out to sea. But not usually at the same time.

JAYNE

Hi, I’m Jayne. I was born in Oban, living here all my life and brought up in a local small hotel. I work in social care, but spend as much time as possible walking in our beautiful surroundings. I love meeting new people, sharing Oban’s history and local knowledge. In my spare time you will find me with my animals, up a mountain, on a kayak or at a festival when Im not with my children and grandchildren.

DAVID

Hi, I’m David. I moved to Oban 35 years ago and never saw any reason to leave. Before becoming a guide I worked as a researcher in Marine Biology, so if the ocean is your thing, I can talk about that all day! I’m also very interested in history and archaeology, and Oban has plenty of both, as I hope to show you in our tour!

GRAZIA

Hi, I’m Grazia, an adopted Obanite for 18 years now. When I first set foot here in 2007, I immediately fell in love with this beautiful place, which got me reading and learning more and more about its history, geography, nature and folklore. I love exploring the area, taking in its beautiful landscapes, wildlife and skies and sharing it with anyone that would like to join me in admiring this piece of heaven on Earth. Our wee town doesn’t leave anyone indifferent and you’ll certainly leave with your heart full of Oban to take it with you forever, wherever you go, like it happened with me!
