1. The Man Behind the Curtain

The only Michelin star restaurant in Leeds, The Man Behind the Curtain is described as “unconventional” on Michelin guide. Both the lunch and dinner menus contain a host of interesting meals with unfamiliar names, from tamagoyaki scramble to ajo blanco. The meals too are served in an inventive way, with lobster being served atop a telephone, mimicking a Salvador Dali sculpture. Whilst this place is expensive at £65 a head, it is worth it if you are wanting to try something a little different to your usual restaurant.

2. Bundobust

A perfect choice for the Vegans and Vegetarians in your life, this restaurant serves delicious Indian street food. No meat is served at all, with the menu being 100% vegetarian. The meals are all incredibly appetising, from the veggie burgers to the rajma and rice, which is described as a “warming and wholesome hug in a pot”. It receives rave reviews online, with one diner saying it is “the best restaurant in Leeds.”
