Fun, informative and great value for money

This is an excellent introductory tour to the history and main buildings in Birmingham. In 90 minutes there is not time to go inside the buildings, but the information given certainly whets the appetite for a more in depth exploration. Our guide was knowledgeable, professional and enthusiastic.

Great walking intro to Birmingham - a fascinating city

The Birmingham City Walking Tour was a very enjoyable way to spend a morning & we learnt lots about a fascinating city. Our guide was very knowledgeable & engaging and lead the walk at a perfect pace, introducing us to the history , buildings and people who helped make Birmingham a great city. We were in quite a mixed group with visitors from New Zealand, some locals & other newbies like ourselves - we all got something from the walk. Would thoroughly recommend.

A quality experience with a friendly & extremely knowledgeable guide.

I was having a solo bachelor party for myself prior to my marriage and felt the need to enjoy this tour. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, funny and be try well spoken. This tour lasted about 1.5 hours and I don’t regret even one minute of it. I am from Dublin but had no idea how diverse and how well put together Birmingham was with such rich history. A 10/10 experience for the price and could not recommend this tour any higher.

A great City - and a great tour

Pete showed us around the centre of Birmingham and though I was born in the City (though moved away 60 years ago) we heard lots of facts that I wasn't aware of. Birmingham undersells itself and Pete did an excellent job in putting that right for those of us on the tour.

Great introduction to the city

A perfect tour for our family from Australia which included a 10 and 12 years old. Our guide was easy to listen to, very knowledgeable & gave interesting facts about the history of the city, the architecture, public art but did not gloss over or ignore the current challenges faced by the council. Our family thoroughly enjoyed it. Our questions were answered, researched if necessary. It is a great city centre. I particularly love the library, the stained glass windows in the cathedral and New Street Railway station. Transport is also very convenient.

Fantastic, and would fully recommend!

Very much enjoyed this tour through central Birmingham. A nice relaxed pace. Interesting explanations of all the sights, very knowledgeable and personable guide. I have a much better appreciation of Birmingham as a result. We followed up on his suggestion that the Birmingham Museum is worth visiting as well as stopping in its Edwardian tea room and much enjoyed our time there. Great tour and great guide!
