Hello, I’m Sarah and I’m delighted to be part of the Walking Tours in Leeds crew that I joined because I love doing walking tours and I love Leeds; a very happy double whammy! I have lived and worked in Leeds for most of my adult life and am passionate about the history of this ‘town that wanted to be a city’ – and the characters that shaped it. I can’t wait to share the stories of those people, and the buildings they built, on a Walking Tours in Leeds when you visit our wonderful city. I hope to see you soon.

Hi, I am Des. I moved to Leeds over 30 years ago, across the Pennines from Manchester, and have never left since, marrying a Leeds ‘ lass ’! I love Leeds and now regard myself as an adopted Yorkshireman. Leeds is an amazing place with a rich & varied history & plenty of secrets! I have a history degree and have presented to adults all my working life so passing on my enthusiasm, joy and knowledge of the city I call home is a pleasure I look forward to sharing with as many people as possible.
