Hi we’re Liv and Jenny, we founded this small business in 2017, because we understand how important it is to meet and spend time with a local when you visit a new place. We initially took the tours ourself, before expanding into a group of guides, each who bring their own spin to the tours.
In each place, all of our guides are guides because they are passionate about the city and they want to share its beauty with you! Our guides come from all walks of life, and all have their own unique experiences of their hometown, which is what makes every tour unique. We hope to see you on one of our tours soon.
We don’t just offer your standard history tours, we have unique experiences too! You can book any day from now until the end of 2026.

STEPH
Hiya! I’m Steph, one of the guides for the Granite City. I moved to Aberdeen 5 years ago from Edinburgh to study Art & Design at Grays School of Art and I ended up falling totally in love with the city’s history, architecture and art scene; so here I am now showing all of you lovely people all I can around and about our fab wee city, hoping you’ll love it too!
BRONWYN
Hi, I’m Bronwyn, I was born in Aberdeen and brought up in Aberdeenshire. I am a local artist and student. I love the architecture of Aberdeen. I suggest when out in any city to look up at the buildings. We often spend all our time looking straight forward and miss some beautiful architectural features. Looking forward to showing you around the city and sharing my knowledge.

KIRSTY
Hi! My name is Kirsty. I’ve been with Walking Tours since 2024, and in addition to working for a neurodiversity charity I also do life modelling on the side! I have a background in archaeology and love to bring this perspective into my tours where I can. I could talk about the history of my weird little city (Aberdeen) at length and am just chuffed that I get to spend my time doing just that!
